This loan is determined by the debt to income ratio. Repayment terms are for 48 months or less. Signature loans can be used for numerous purposes. Some examples are as follows: appliances, furniture, home improvements, taxes, vacation, cost of living, and other gainful or necessary purposes.

All members must have a share account in order to be eligible for all services the credit union offers. A share account is comparable to a savings account, in which a member may save money on a regular basis. Payroll deduction or ACH deposits assure regular deposits.
The Allegheny Valley Federal Credit Union offers daily dividends (paid monthly) on share accounts. The rates of dividends are determined by the Board of Directors and are based on the earnings of the Credit Union, and are declared monthly.
Since the Credit Union pays a higher dividend, it sometimes requires putting a limit on new monies to protect the benefits for our members.

Membership in the Allegheny Valley Federal Credit Union is for anyone employed by one of the companies in our field of membership and their family members (include children, grandchildren, their spouses, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, etc.), and allows members to save and/or borrow (if all requirements are met). Persons who live, work, worship or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in the Borough of Springdale, Pennsylvania are eligible for membership with the Allegheny Valley Federal Credit Union.
This means that anyone and their families (regardless of the home address) who work, go to a church located in Springdale, attend any of the schools, any businesses of organizations and people that belong to those organizations are eligible for membership in the Allegheny Valley Federal Credit Union.

Payroll deductions are an easy way to save or meet your monthly obligations with the Allegheny Valley Federal Credit Union. Payroll deductions for Credit Union services may be available through your company. Please check with your payroll department to see if this service is available to you.
The Allegheny Valley Federal Credit Union's Debit Card allows you to either access money in your credit union account using an ATM to receive cash directly or you can make over-the-counter purchases using a point-of-sale (POS) terminal.
Share Certificates from the Allegheny Valley Federal Credit Union are an excellent investment opportunity if you do not need immediate access to your funds and want to invest for longer periods to obtain higher rates of return. The Credit Union offers six month, one year, and two year term Share Certificates. Minimum investment in a certificate is $1,000. All rates are reviewed by the Board of Directors on a monthly basis. Early withdrawals may be subject to a penalty.
